✨ Whether your child is brand new to the stage or ready for a starring role, we have a program that will help them shine! All programs run September – June with a focus on building skills, confidence, and a love of the arts.

OUR MUISCAL THEATRE PROGRAMS
All our programs run from September 2026 -June 2027. Rehearsals will take place at SA Cawker P.S. in the Music Room. Please Note: There will be rehearsals at the Town Hall Theatre in Port Perry closer to our Year-End Showcase and final productions.

Broadway Basics (Ages 6–10)
The perfect first step into the world of musical theatre! Broadway Basics introduces young performers to singing, dancing, and acting through fun, engaging activities that build confidence, creativity, and teamwork. Students develop foundational stage skills in a positive, supportive environment while preparing to perform in a year-end showcase.

⭐ Rising Star (Ages 11–18)
Ready to take your performance skills to the next level? Rising Star is designed for students who want to strengthen their singing, acting, and dance technique while growing as confident performers. Through exciting musical theatre training, ensemble work, and performance opportunities, students develop stage presence, creativity, and lasting friendships in a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere.

🌟 Broadway Bound (Auditioned Program • Ages 8–18)
For dedicated performers seeking a more intensive musical theatre experience, Broadway Bound is our advanced, audition-based performance company. Students participate in 1.5-hour weekly rehearsals while preparing a full-scale Broadway Junior or Youth Edition musical. With a focus on performance excellence, storytelling, vocal technique, choreography, and character development, this high-calibre program challenges students to grow both on and off the stage while creating unforgettable theatrical experiences.
***Please Note: There will be several extra rehearsals (outside of our regular scheduled rehearsal times) for our Broadway Bound group. These extra rehearsals will take place in April, May, June and are 4 hour rehearsals. There is no extra charge for these rehearsals.

📍 Where are classes held?
Weekly classes are held in the Music Room at SA Cawker Public School in Port Perry.

- Indoor running shoes or jazz shoes (if available)
Please avoid:
- Jeans or restrictive clothing
- Flip-flops, Crocs, sandals, or slippery footwear
Long hair should be tied back for safety and comfort.
🎭 Will my child have opportunities to perform?
Absolutely! Performing is an important part of our musical theatre programs. Throughout the year, students will have various opportunities to build confidence, develop their performance skills, and showcase what they’ve learned in a supportive environment.
Depending on their program, performance opportunities may include:
- Fall Showcase
- Sunderland Lions Music Festival
- Year-End Showcase
Performance opportunities vary by program, and families will receive all dates and details well in advance.
📅 What happens if my child misses a class?
We understand that illnesses and family commitments happen. While missed group classes cannot be made up or refunded, rehearsal materials will be shared whenever possible to help students stay caught up.
👗 What about costumes?
Our Broadway Basics and Rising Star programs focus on the performance experience rather than elaborate costumes. These programs use limited costumes and props, allowing students to concentrate on developing their confidence, acting, singing, and stage skills.
At times, families may be asked to help put together a simple costume using clothing they already own. For example, an orphan costume might simply consist of black pants and a brightly coloured T-shirt. We will always provide plenty of notice and keep costume requests simple, affordable, and easy to assemble.
Broadway Bound costumes are included in your Production Fee. However, performers may be asked to provide certain basic costume elements such as tights, appropriate undergarments, black pants, black shoes, or other simple clothing items to be worn with their assigned costume. Families will receive plenty of notice if any additional items are required.
📸 Will photos and videos be taken?
Photos and videos may be taken during classes, rehearsals, performances, and special events for promotional purposes, including our website, social media, and other studio marketing materials. Families can indicate their photo permission preferences on the registration form.
📧 How will I receive updates?
Most communication is sent by email, so please ensure your email address is entered correctly and check it regularly. Important reminders, schedules, and announcements may also be shared through our studio social media pages.
💲 Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes! We are pleased to offer sibling discounts. Please contact us for current sibling discount rates.
🎭 Is attendance important?
